4004W: Rate Limit Exceeded
What does this mean?
This warning is issued when the external system's rate limit is exceeded due to too many messages being sent in quick succession.
How does SyncHive handle it?
When a rate limit is reached, SyncHive manages the situation based on the configured settings within the integration. If a pause duration is specified, SyncHive will halt the publishing of messages for that duration. If no specific pause duration is configured, a default pause of 2 minutes is applied. After the pause period, SyncHive will automatically resume the message publishing process.
When does this happen and what can I do about it?
This warning typically resolves itself once the specified pause duration elapses. However, if the default or the currently configured pause duration does not sufficiently mitigate the frequency of warnings, you may opt to adjust this setting. For detailed instructions on how to modify the pause duration, please refer to the guide available here.
