Downloads

The Downloads page contains data exports generated from the currently selected hive.

Data exports are started from the Explore section when viewing shape records.

Exports include:

  • The records matching your current filters
  • The columns currently selected
  • The current column order

The export reflects the data as it existed when the export started. Changes made while the export is being generated may not be included in the downloaded file.

Export Limits​

A single export can contain up to 1,000,000 rows.

If an export exceeds this limit, SyncHive displays a warning and exports the first 1,000,000 rows.

Managing Downloads​

After an export starts, it appears on the Downloads page where you can:

  • Monitor export progress
  • View export details
  • Download completed files
  • Cancel eligible exports

For each export, SyncHive displays information such as:

  • Status
  • User who started the export
  • Start time
  • File name
  • Shape
  • File size
  • Generation time
  • Expiry time

Download Availability​

Completed downloads remain available for 24 hours after they are generated.

After 24 hours, downloads expire and can no longer be downloaded.

Expired download records remain visible for 7 days before being automatically removed from the download list.

Permissions​

Any user can:

  • Create exports
  • View the Downloads page
  • Cancel their own exports

Account Administrators can also cancel exports created by other users.
