Hive Access and User Roles

Select the hive you want to work with from the Hive selector in the top-right corner of SyncHive.

Each hive maintains its own user access and permissions.

Users Page

The Users page displays all users who have access to the selected hive, including their assigned role and current status.

From this page you can:

  • View hive users
  • Invite additional users
  • Update user roles and permissions
  • Remove users from the hive

Hive-Specific Access

User access is managed independently for each hive.

A user may have access to one hive without having access to others in the same workspace.

Deleting a Hive

A workspace administrator can permanently delete any hive, regardless of whether it is active, inactive, trial, or paid.

Note: Deleting a hive permanently removes the hive and all its associated data. No backup is retained, and the deletion cannot be undone.

Deleting a hive does not delete its workspace, even if it is the workspace’s last hive. Any tokens belonging to the workspace are also retained.

Automatic Deletion of Inactive Hives

A hive is automatically deleted after remaining inactive for 60 consecutive days.

The 60-day period starts when the hive most recently becomes inactive. If the hive is reactivated before deletion, it is no longer eligible for automatic deletion.

If the hive later becomes inactive again, a new 60-day period begins. This retention period cannot be extended.

A workspace administrator can delete an inactive hive at any time before the automatic deletion occurs.
